SCDG offers training and technical assistance that builds green economic and community development skills.  Our programming works for executives, managers and a broad range of employees.  SCDG can also develop tailored curricula.

Achieving Environmental Justice

 

This course strengthens organizational expertise on the history of environmental justice, addressing disproportionate environmental impacts, and legal authorities.

 

Green Development For Mayors

 

This course is green communities training for mayors.  The curriculum concentrates on tools elected officials can use, strategies, networking and peer learning.

 

PLACES Fellowship

 

People Learning About Community, Equity and Smart Growth is a one-year fellowship designed for the Funders Network for Smart Growth and Livable Communities.

 

 

Sustainable Brownfields Redevelopment

 

This course builds real estate and economic development skills in communities and organizations tackling contaminated urban and rural properties and vacant properties.

 

US HUD Environmental Review

 

The course covers US HUD environmental review requirements and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance for local agencies and nonprofit community developers.
